[ As I gazed through the eyes of the Jackdaws ]
I beheld a spectacle from the far reaches of the cosmos:
a collective of alien amphibians,
adorned in hues of azure and emerald like living auroras,
spreading music across the universe.
Some wielded saxophones, forged from celestial metals that gleamed with luminescent brilliance.
And they began to play.
The music, a sublime fusion of amphibian rhythm and cosmic jazz,
was seeping into the very fabric of any nearby living consciousness.
Time itself seemed to dance with the rhythm,
bending and stretching in a kaleidoscope of possibilities.
Stirring emotions long dormant.
Born Stephen Lee Peck in Southend-on-Sea Essex, UK.
St3v3L33 is known as an experimental composer and saxophonist who puts together interesting and unusual sounds and noises in rhythmic and hypnotic patterns.
He is an accomplished saxophonist, and enjoys a good improv session.
With a penchant for the unusual, the saxophone is often pushed out of it's usual confines.
Collaborating with a variety of musicians and performance artists exposes him to influences from many other artistic avenues.
He/him, atheist, science enthusiast, vegan, politically on the left side of things.

"Saxophone is his forte, but he obviously got bored playing Coltrane and Bleeding Gums Murphy at some point, and spiralled off to the dark side. Psychedelic, alternative, abstract – my favourite words all in one place."

"There’s something most inviting here. Potentially chaotic but not. Instead, warm, precise, sharp, focussed. Primordial soup with conscious intent. Inside the event horizon? Somehow it offers the answers that has been sought, found and lost. An ancient message deciphered by those who can open their mind. From St3v3L33’s mind to yours. Step inside and ask your questions. The full circle of departure and arrival awaits. The answers are here. Out of the park. Turn this up and see what it conjures up for you."

"Steve Peck (aka St3v3L33) is a prolific composer, producer and saxophone player from West Sussex who makes fascinating and eclectic instrumental music incorporating a dizzying array of elements ranging from house, trance and techno to blues, jazz and dance. FXpective is a trippy, brooding affair, with spacey industrial synths and crunchy percussion, over which Steve overlays bleating sax notes. It’s a brilliant track."

"Based on the English South Coast in Worthing, Steve Peck aka St3v3L33 is at it again with Rolling Thunder. Through a combination of phased, wobbly synth tones and an array of reverberant environmental noises, he creates the most evocative, enthralling and engaging atmosphere in which I am able to let my imagination drift off into Steve’s agreeably ethereal world. It might not sound that way to everyone but to me this is genuinely quite beautiful."
